Solution Architect - AI, Knowledge Graphs, Low-Code & Enterprise Architecture
Architect the Next Generation of Intelligent Enterprise Solutions
As a Solution Architect for Siemens Intelligence Center X (ICX), you will architect the next generation of intelligent enterprise solutions, combining AI and AI agents, knowledge graphs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), low-code applications, connected enterprise data, and Siemens industrial technologies to transform how complex enterprises operate.
You will serve as a technical anchor for ambitious customer transformations, shaping the solution from early discovery through architecture and critical technical decisions. Just as importantly, you will help define reusable architecture patterns and influence how Siemens approaches intelligent enterprise solutions across customers and industries.
You don't need to know the entire Siemens technology stack. We're looking for strong architects who bring depth in some combination of enterprise architecture, AI, knowledge graphs/data, and customer consulting, with the curiosity and technical foundation to learn the rest.

End-to-End Architecture Ownership
Shape the technical vision and architecture from discovery through delivery. You establish the architecture, integration approach, technical guardrails, and critical design decisions. Technical Leads and delivery teams translate that direction into detailed implementation.
Customer Impact
Partner directly with business and technology leaders to understand complex problems, challenge conventional approaches, and design pragmatic solutions spanning applications, data, AI, integration, and Siemens technologies.
Leadership & Broader Influence
Your impact extends beyond a single project. Develop reusable patterns and reference architectures, mentor technical teams, and help advance architecture practices across Siemens Professional Services.
Where You'll Focus

~70% Solution Architecture & Delivery Leadership: Shape solutions, establish architecture, guide critical technical decisions, and maintain architectural integrity throughout delivery.

~20% Strategic Solutioning: Help customers and Siemens teams turn complex business opportunities into compelling, achievable technical solutions.

~10% Practice Leadership & Mentorship: Build reusable approaches, mentor technical talent, and strengthen our architecture capability.
These percentages are directional and will vary depending on customer and business needs.
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in strong technical foundations, problem-solving ability, and learning agility than a perfect technology match.
Successful candidates will bring:

Strong solution or enterprise architecture experience across complex systems.

Depth in at least two of these areas:

AI, AI agents, or emerging AI architectures

Knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, or connected enterprise data

Enterprise solution and integration architecture

Technical consulting and complex customer delivery

Hands-on technical experience and the credibility to guide engineers and Technical Leads without needing to own every implementation detail.

The ability to translate business problems into clear, scalable technical architectures.

Strong customer-facing communication, consulting, and technical leadership skills.

Curiosity and the ability to rapidly learn new technologies, domains, and products.
Valuable but not required: Experience with Graph Studio, Mendix, AI Studio, MCP, Siemens industrial software, manufacturing, PLM, service, or asset management.

This is a project-driven role, so travel and cross-time-zone collaboration will fluctuate with customer needs. Some periods may involve customer-site engagement, while others may be fully remote. We value mutual flexibility, balancing the demands of our customers and projects with flexibility in how you manage your schedule.

Closing
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is 146,700–293,400 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher within this range depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a target incentive of 7.5% of the base salary.
