Principal / Staff Backend Engineer

As a driven, product-focused senior-level backend software engineer on the founding team, you will be building a well-tested, feature-rich crypto trading experience. You will develop with a blazingly modern backend tech stack, primarily using Golang, Python, GCP, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Build a well-tested, feature-rich crypto trading experience
• Develop with a modern backend tech stack, primarily Golang, Python, GCP, and MongoDB
• Adhere to good code practices with a focus on readability, maintainability, and testing
• Take on full ownership of meaningful projects

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of software engineering experience
• Working knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices (e.g., Heroku, GCP)
• Comfortable with MongoDB for databasing
• High-agency and autodidactic with a founder mentality
• Crypto-native (Bonus)
• Experience with Typescript (Bonus)
