Responsibilities:

• Technical expert in assisting field service team and sales staff in handling a variety of pre- and post-sales processes
• Responds to situations where first-line field support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment
• Provide technical support to field service team to resolve customer issues
• Interdepartmental collaboration with engineering, hardware and software development, and manufacturing between US headquarters and Taiwan
• Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering / software engineering.
• Research multiple data bases to determine configurations and correct bill of materials to determine repair or upgrade parts for service related issues and upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a technical or applications engineering role in a semiconductor environment
• Experience in a wafer testing environment preferred
• Experience in working with global counterparts and local teams in resolving complex interdepartmental technical issues
• Excellent communication in English and Chinese
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
