Role Overview
At iCareManager (iCM), the Tech Lead – Platform Team will provide hands-on technical leadership across platform services, authentication, integrations, APIs, and shared application capabilities.
The role requires a strong engineer who can own solutions from architecture and technical design through development, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. The Tech Lead will work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and other teams to deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and reliable platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and development of shared platform services, APIs, authentication, and enterprise integrations. Maintain and modernize legacy .NET applications while developing new capabilities using modern .NET technologies.
Ensure high standards for code quality, secure API design, automated testing, technical documentation, performance, observability, and production reliability. Lead code reviews, technical planning, debugging, deployment strategy, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues.
Mentor engineers, improve team technical capability, identify and reduce technical debt, and promote practical engineering decisions that balance quality, delivery timelines, scalability, security, and business value.
Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent tools to improve development, refactoring, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and unit-test generation. All AI-generated code must be reviewed and validated for correctness, security, performance, and architectural alignment before production use.
Technical Skills
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in .NET Framework 4.0–4.8, .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, Angular, TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server, and T-SQL, along with practical experience supporting Java-based services.
Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, Keycloak, third-party identity integrations, Git, CI/CD, secure API design, performance optimization, debugging, and production incident resolution is required.
Experience with legacy application modernization, distributed systems, system architecture, database performance optimization, automated testing, and observability is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, Senior Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role.
The candidate should demonstrate strong technical ownership, problem-solving ability, communication skills, cross-team collaboration, mentoring capability, and the ability to lead solutions from design through production.
Experience in a reputable product, SaaS, healthcare technology, or enterprise software company is preferred.
