Print Estimator
- Collaborates and coordinates with Sales, Planners/CSR’s, customers, vendors and staff.
- Coordinates with planners for efficient cost options and may recommend changes or improvements. Makes recommendations on production process and equipment based on job parameters, volume and cost.
- The Estimator must regularly analyze customer needs, technical and commercial printing constraints and company resources/capabilities then choose among several alternative courses of action to select the best cost proposal
- Able to work with abstract designs and create a rough “plan” for job production and will exercise the use of creative problem solving skills
- Sensitive to the protection of the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality
- Work efficiently and effectively to assure completion of estimates to meet customer demand
- Performing other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by the manager
