Printing Press Operators – Offset & Digital

Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available
Pay: Based on Experience

Position Overview

We are hiring Printing Press Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Opportunities include Offset 2nd Pressperson and Digital Press Operator positions. These roles involve operating printing equipment, preparing materials and files for production, maintaining print quality, and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with or independently operate offset or digital printing equipment, depending on position.
• Prepare paper, ink, printing plates, and other materials for production runs.
• Stage materials and ensure digital print files are available and properly organized.
• Perform equipment startup, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor print quality, accuracy, and production standards.
• Assist with color calibration and profiling for digital printing operations.
• Perform safety and quality inspections throughout production.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate job and inventory records.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and assist with training other team members as needed.
• Offset Pressperson must be able to cover lead press operator duties when needed.
• Work overtime as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and follow operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong digital graphics production, digital file format, and desktop publishing knowledge required for Digital Press Operator positions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required for Digital Press Operator positions.
• Previous offset or digital printing experience preferred; comprehensive training provided for the Offset 2nd Pressperson position.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and meet production deadlines.
