Prior Authorization Clerk
- Responsible for organizing, filing and scanning in any related PA documents into the RxAUTH system.
- Support the PA Management team in any additional administrative activities as determined necessary by the management team.
- Responsible for working as a team to meet all contractual PA obligations for specific clients in the Clinical Call Center.
- Maintains the confidentiality of protected member medical information at all times.
- Other assigned activities as determined by the prior authorization management team.
- HS diploma or GED
- Strong administrative skills a must, such as typing, filing, organization and time management
- Ability to adapt to changing work environment including scheduling flexibility
- Ability to type at least 40 wpm
Training for 1st two weeks will be regular business hours, 8a-5p.
Thereafter the shift will be: 3 days/wk: 8:30a-5:00p year around
2 days/wk: 11:30a-8:00p during Daylight Savings (now) and 12:30p-9:00 when not DST
1 Saturday a month: 8:30a-5:00p (When working on Sat,you get a day off during the week)
*Daylight Savings is March - November
