Private Banking Assistant Relationship Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports the Private Banking team by assisting Relationship Managers in delivering excellent client service, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic KYC reviews for existing clients and perform preliminary checks for new client onboarding to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
• Support Relationship Managers in executing client orders and managing trade instructions via phone to facilitate timely transactions
• Prepare, organize, and submit transaction and account documents accurately and promptly to relevant departments
• Manage post-account opening activities, including preparing welcome packages, AI opt-in letters, and related documentation to enhance client experience
• Verify and prepare documents in compliance with MAS regulations and internal procedures to uphold regulatory standards
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processing and client servicing
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department or management to support team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Banking & Finance, or related discipline from a recognized institution
• Minimum 2 years of Premium Banking Relationship Manager experience or 3 years of Premium Banking Assistant Relationship Manager experience
• Passed or in progress CACS Paper 1 & 2

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• BSC Grade A (if applicable)
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills demonstrated through effective collaboration across multiple departments
