Position Profile
Weaver is looking for talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager or Director level to join our growing firm. A Private Client Services Senior Manager or Director provides federal tax compliance and planning services to high-net-worth individual clients and privately held businesses.
A Weaver Tax Senior Manager or Director is an entrepreneur who successfully creates new business for the firm and develops the next generation of Weaver’s leaders. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting at a public accounting firm.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Master’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm with a focus on consolidated corporations, multi-state businesses, private equity backed clients, large businesses and partnerships
- Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in multiple industries, particularly focused on high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as their privately held businesses.
- Proven ability to build teams, manage, mentor and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Passionate client service
- Ability to attract and service new clients (participation in proposal and business development activities) and expand services to existing clients
- CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) with over 10 years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting within public accounting firms, specializing in consolidated corporations, multi-state businesses, private equity-backed clients, large enterprises, and partnerships.
