I'm working with a leading Ohio-based private equity firm that is hiring a Private Equity Associate to join their investment team in Columbus, Ohio.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building detailed financial models and investment return analyses

• Conducting thorough industry and company research

• Executing business due diligence on target companies

• Preparing comprehensive due diligence packages with analytics, market research, and background information

• Helping craft presentations and investment memorandums for the investment committee

• Supporting portfolio company monitoring, quarterly valuations, add-on acquisitions, and other team initiatives

• Partnering with business development on sourcing and sector research

• Providing mentorship and feedback to Analysts and Interns


What They're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• 2–3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, commercial banking, business valuation, transaction advisory, or a similar role

• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities

• Solid foundation in accounting and finance principles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
