Private Lesson Instructor

Description:

Private lesson instructors maintain a studio of music students who take lessons during school hours on campus at SBA in designated private lesson rooms.

Private Lesson Instructors must exhibit:

• A strong commitment to the school mission and philosophy.

• An understanding that music education is a ministry.

• Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written skills.

• The ability to collaborate with Arts administration and parents.

• The ability to disciple and mentor students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach private music lessons

• Maintain communication with parents of students regarding lessons and performances

• Develop and keep a regular teaching schedule

• Work closely with the Arts administration to schedule and advertise performances.

• Assume responsibility to perform any work as assigned by direct supervisor.

• Maintain communication and work closely with Arts administration.
