Assignment Highlights

• Schedule: PRN Weekday Shifts | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Weekends/Call: None required

• Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health / Health System Pharmacy

• Pharmacy Technology: HCS Order Entry System & Omnicell Automated Dispensing (Comprehensive 1-day paid orientation/training provided)

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Verification: Review, enter, and verify inpatient medication orders for safety, efficacy, and accuracy using the HCS system.

• Dispensing & Operations: Support daily medication distribution, verify packaged medications, and oversee clean, compliant pharmacy operations.

• Automation Management: Stock, maintain, and manage Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dedicated pharmacy technicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.

• Experience: Prior inpatient hospital, health system, or behavioral health pharmacy experience preferred.

• Skills: Proficiency in order entry systems, automated dispensing technology (Omnicell/Pyxis), and strong attention to detail.
