Registered Respiratory Therapist (PRN)
Per Diem | 8- or 12-hour shifts | Days and nights

HealthBridge Children’s Hospital provides specialized post-acute and rehabilitation care for medically complex, technology-dependent children. We are hiring PRN Registered Respiratory Therapists to support our cardiopulmonary team with ventilator care, weaning, tracheostomy management, and family-centered treatment planning.

What you will do

• Administer medical gases, humidification, medications, and aerosols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes
• Follow physician orders for cardiopulmonary medications and treatments
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient response
• Perform and interpret basic ABGs, pulmonary function testing, EKGs, and chest x-rays
• Provide patient and family education, including training for transition home
• Document treatments, labor, and clinical notes per facility, corporate, and regulatory standards
• Participate in care conferences, weekly rehab meetings, and discharge planning
• Coordinate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and the Director of Cardiopulmonary
• Represent the facility professionally with families, coworkers, and external partners
• Resolve concerns with families or team members in a professional, proactive manner
• Comply with California Respiratory Care Board standards and facility policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
