We are currently seeking a dependable, customer-focused Pro Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to members and guests while supporting the daily operations of the Pro Shop. Responsibilities include assisting patrons with tee time reservations, addressing golfing needs, promoting golf merchandise, and encouraging golf membership sales.

· Takes tee time and manage tee sheet to ensure all fees are paid and all golfers are aware of all policies/rules/procedures for the Golf Course.
· Complies and ensures that all Pro Shop and Golf course policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, General Manager and Management of Pro Shop are being adhered to.
· Assists with marshaling of the Golf Course and driving range.
· Assists in inventory and order processing of merchandise to replenish stock.
· Maintains and keeps retail and register area clean and tidy according to established standards and policies.
· Discusses retail product selection with patrons and assists with sales.
· Responsible for processing all transactions on register system.
· Responsible for the balancing of the register at the end of their shift.
· Informs patrons of golf club memberships.
· Assists with proper opening and closing procedures.
· Assists Golf Pro and Pro Shop Manager as needed.
· Promotes smooth operations of Pro Shop activities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of one year related experience and/or training and Education
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply concepts of basic Math such as: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
