The role
At our company Industria Cárnicas Villar, we are looking for a Process and Continuous Improvement Technician to join our team.
The mission of the selected person will be to define, analyze, and optimize production processes in a food environment, ensuring operational efficiency, standardization of work methods, and compliance with quality, food safety, and continuous improvement requirements, aligned with corporate process guidelines.
What you'll do
- Define and document production processes, preparing work instructions and equipment user manuals, in accordance with corporate standards and food safety regulations.
- Analyze production processes through time studies and the application of Lean Manufacturing tools, identifying opportunities for improvement and waste reduction.
- Balance and optimize production lines, guaranteeing productivity, quality, and food safety.
- Provide training to operators on work methods for new processes or significant modifications, ensuring their correct implementation.
- Define and validate production line objectives through on-site data collection and analysis.
- Propose and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), detecting deviations and defining action plans.
- Participate in the industrialization of new products, collaborating in the definition of the production process.
- Collaborate transversally with the Production, Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and OSH departments, aligning actions with corporate guidelines.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions oriented toward continuous improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement projects at the plant level.
