Process Engineer
Job Summary
Lead and coordinate facilities and engineering projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant completion. Maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment to maximize operational reliability and efficiency while supporting energy compliance and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities and engineering projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot plant facilities and equipment to reduce downtime and ensure operational reliability
- Identify maintenance issues and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient maintenance, repairs, and project execution
- Supervise and support supervisors and technicians through technical guidance, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve facility and equipment issues for smooth plant operations
- Monitor and maintain equipment downtime records to facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant facilities and machinery
- Collect and analyze utility energy consumption data to ensure compliance with Energy Conservation Act (ECA) reporting
- Support Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment (EEOA) initiatives in alignment with regulatory standards
- Apply basic knowledge of PLC systems to support maintenance activities (considered an advantage)
- Perform additional duties assigned by Management, including safety, Emergency Response Team (ERT), and operational tasks
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in a technical field such as Mechatronics Engineering
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
