Process Engineer
Summary
Oversee and optimize chemical plant operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality targets are met while coordinating with teams and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements :
- Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the production plant.
- Monitor and optimize process performance to achieve production and quality targets.
- Investigate process abnormalities, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Process Technicians during daily operations.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, QA, and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements and company procedures.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or process plant environment.
- Good knowledge of chemical plant operations and process safety.
- We are looking for candidates proficient in Mandarin, as the role requires communication with our Chinese counterparts overseas and handling documents, contracts, and regulations that are available only in Mandarin.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
