Process Engineer
About the Role
Are you a process engineering professional dedicated to driving manufacturing precision, product quality, and process capability? As our Process Engineer – Personal Care, you will oversee the implementation and continuous compliance of the plant's Master Quality Plan across Personal Care production lines. Leveraging Statistical Process Control (SPC / CpK analysis) and process validation protocols (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, MTP), you will optimize mixing and compounding processes, manage Experimental Manufacture Orders (EMOs), and eliminate Absolute Material Losses (AML). Working at the intersection of Operations, EHS, and R&D, you will lead root-cause investigations, manage CAPAs, and audit Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Purified Water systems to guarantee that every product meets global quality and regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
-
Master Quality Plan & Process Control: Implement, monitor, and enforce the site Master Quality Plan; track Process Capability Indices (Cp/CpK) and Key Process Controls (KPCs) to eliminate manufacturing variation and material waste.
-
Validation Governance (Equipment & Cleaning): Develop, execute, and approve validation protocols and reports for Design, Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) as well as Manufacturing Trial Runs (MTP) and Purified Water System validations.
-
New Formula & EMO Execution: Coordinate Experimental Manufacture Orders (EMOs), pilot runs, and technical transfers for new formula startups and packaging modifications in partnership with R&D and Operations.
-
Audit Management & Consumer Complaints: Participate in plant, On-Shelf Quality (OSQ), and regulatory audits; manage root-cause investigations for consumer complaints and product non-conformances, executing robust CAPAs.
-
Cleaning & Sanitization (C&S) & Hygiene: Enforce compliance with corporate Cleaning & Sanitization (C&S) standards, CIP routines, and hygienic plant design principles.
-
Change Control & Traceability: Author and review Change Controls, deviation notes, and scrap/BOM updates; actively lead mock product recall and traceability exercises.

Direct experience executing process and equipment validations (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, MTP) and applying Statistical Process Control (SPC / CpK analysis).
-
Hands-on experience managing Quality Management Systems (QMS), investigating root causes, and executing CAPAs.
-
Proven experience at a Soap Manufacturing company or in Fats & Oils related operations.
-
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for personal care/cosmetics and hygienic liquid handling.
-
Familiarity with Purified Water systems, Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, and Cleaning & Sanitization (C&S) protocols.
-
Internal Quality auditing experience (ISO 9001, ISO 22716, or corporate quality standards).
-
Proficiency in SAP ERP systems (QM module), Google Workspace, and statistical data analysis software.
