Focus on longer term and process improvement items.The process engineer is the primary engineer responsible for process designs, improvements, and engineering support of capital projects. Responsible to develop technical solutions and applies technology in the manufacturing environment with close cooperation both with production operators and field experts.
- Develop expertise in process chemistry, operating philosophy, and equipment design basis
- Maintain high-level understanding of site control systems, troubleshooting, and functionality
- Serve as a technical liaison providing process technology input for safety, quality, and systemic issue resolution;
- Lead new product and technology introductions, complete engineering packages, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Implement global design standards, drive best-in-class processes, and analyze cost effectiveness of the improvements
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Support capital projects with process designs, simulations, hazard analyses, and provide ongoing assistance during design, construction, and start-up phases
- Deliver plant training on process chemistry and equipment; participate in equipment optimization initiatives
- Utilize external engineering resources when needed and perform other assigned responsibilities
- Engineering degree, or working towards.
- 3 + year’s experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Management of relevant country Health and Safety legislation
- Experience in process standardization in manufacturing
- Project Optimization/Implementation experience
- Training experience, organizational skills, prioritizing, analytical and problem solving skills
- Willingness to perform hands - on and operational tasks
- Advanced PC skills
- Good communicative English
