Internship Program 2027

The position will be based in Panamá City, Panamá.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Process Engineer Intern, you will:

  • Support the creation of materials related to projects.
  • Improve the quality and organization of process documentation, procedures, guides, and work instructions.
  • Develop engineering solutions and project cost estimates/budgets.
  • Perform detailed design of processing equipment.
  • Coordinate communication between sales team, project team, suppliers and logistics to ensure an efficient flow of information.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to process engineering.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of operational indicators and control activities within the area.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.

  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Advanced English; Power BI knowledge is a plus. Technical curiosity and a passion for learning are highly valued attributes; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Availability for internship: January 18 to December 13, 2027.

  • Graduation expected: December 2027 or afterwards.

  • Availability to work and commute to our site 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, during the full internship program.
