Key Responsibilities of Process Engineer

1. Owns the responsibility of continual safety, quality, cost, and productivity improvement in responsible area.
2. Review & implement Most Effective Technology (MET), and specific Operating Discipline requirements are in place.
3. Performs appropriate Manage Production roles as determined by Plant / Business.
4. Understands and applies skills and knowledge in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology, to maximize plant asset utilization and produce low cost, quality products.
5. Initiates and manages changes to Plant Operating standards and procedures to ensure they are valid and up to date. Works with Production Technicians in this respect.
6. Ensures the processes are running consistently with Process Control System in responsible area and owns SOPs integrity.
7. Responsible for continuous quality improvement such as line yield, product reliability and customer complain.
8. Implements new manufacturing technology (for products and processes) & global alignment.
9. Cost audits and maintains BOMs, recipes, and routings and takes continual, necessary variance improvement. Monitors product cost variance performance in each area.
10. Develop project team with help from MT team, global and engineering alignment in CMP.
11. Planning/organizing, Influencing skill critical thinking, Problem solving skill, Project management
12. Demonstrate ability to effectively develop process/program improvement opportunities across functional and regional boundaries
13. Bridges between organizations and coordinate cross-function projects for safety, quality and productivity improvement and leverage out to worldwide sites.
