Process Engineer (On site)
Cricut Malaysia is growing its Manufacturing Engineering team with a new Process Engineer position. This role owns the definition of manufacturing processes for new products, with deep engagement with design teams, and full responsibility for process design, verification and sustaining throughout the product life cycle. This role also affords the opportunity to engage with multiple Contract Manufacturers in Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- NPI: Manufacturing process development & validation
- Manufacturing equipment specification, development & validation
- MP: Monitor the mass production process, analyze and diagnose yield issues, optimize processes
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in product or process engineering for high volume consumer electronic products
- Proficient in Industrial Engineering fundamentals, cycle time measurements, line balancing
- Experience with automation equipment a plus
- Formal six sigma training a plus
- Reporting: the position reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering
