Process Engineer (Packaging Component)

Design, develop, and optimize packaging concepts (incl. the selection and evaluation of trays, cartons, PE bags, pallets, containers, and other packaging material) for different components and sub-assemblies
Coordinate and execute trial run to ensure successful process implementation and qualification
Drive the cross-departmental collaboration with our Process Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
Initiate and coordinate testing activities and experiments to prove the suitability of a chosen packaging design
Document and maintain all technical information of the chosen packaging concepts incl. the creation of technical documentation, guidelines, and work instructions (incl. illustrations)
Lead the technical process implementation for the introduction of new trays and coordinate the required development activities with our in-house tray factory and external vendors
Contribute to internal innovation- and process development initiatives by recommending new or alternative technologies, processes, and equipment
Safeguard all relevant specifications and comply with regulatory requirements
