Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer / Production Engineer who will lead continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor by combining manufacturing techniques with strong knowledge of the Tetra Pak product portfolio.

In this role, you will be an individual contributor who will act as the key link between production and engineering, driving technical excellence, improving processes, and developing shop floor capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on operational performance, contribute to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives, and work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The position is based in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico State, Mexico.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Process Engineer / Production Engineer you will:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with engineering, business streams, and market operations, including pre-fabricated modules
  • Identify and solve complex technical issues within manufacturing processes by introducing and implementing improved working methods
  • Act as the main technical point of contact between production and engineering teams
  • Develop and coach production personnel on technical aspects related to Tetra Pak modules
  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures when implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Support and actively participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices and technical expertise among production teams
  • Interpret and communicate technical documentation and component manuals to production operators

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automation or related fields preferred)
  • 1 – 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, doing continuous improvement activities using related methodologies, process documentation and working with operators and shop floor.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong technical knowledge of processing equipment and technical skills
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing techniques, tools, and methodologies
  • Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of PLC programming is considered a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and support shop floor teams
  • Good AutoCAD knowledge
