Process Engineer

We are looking for a PIE Engineer (Process Engineer) to join our Engineering team and support the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

What will you do?

• Lead and support Process Development and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including pilot runs and production validation.
• Develop, establish, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for electronic products.
• Define process flow, manufacturing routes, and production requirements for new products.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, process flow, control plans, PFMEA/failure-mode documentation, and trial production reports.
• Analyze production data and line performance to identify opportunities for process improvement, line balancing, efficiency, and productivity.
• Evaluate manufacturing capacity and establish standard labor times and production standards.
• Monitor production performance and identify process issues, escalating unresolved problems promptly.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to improve yield and reduce defects.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives through process optimization, labor-cost analysis, and automation opportunities.
• Propose and support the implementation of automation and equipment solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Maintain product BOM and packaging information and support packaging requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of standardized operating methods.
• Train production personnel and support line leaders in standardized work and proper process execution.
• Provide technical support during trial production, ramp-up, and mass production.
• Coordinate with Quality to establish and improve product/process inspection requirements.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, safety requirements, and proper PPE usage.
• Support the effective resolution of manufacturing issues and adverse events occurring on the production floor.
• Perform other activities assigned by the supervisor.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Process Engineering (PIE), preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
• Experience with NPI, process development, continuous improvement, and project management.
• Knowledge of production line balancing, capacity analysis, standard labor times, and process optimization.
• Experience preparing and maintaining manufacturing documentation such as SOPs, process flows, control plans, and PFMEA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with SAP, OA, and/or Teamcenter (TC) is highly desirable.
• Advanced English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, responsible, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset.
