Job Summary

Design and manage process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design concept, functional, preliminary, and detailed process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants to fulfill project requirements
  • Review and evaluate vendor submissions to verify compliance with technical specifications
  • Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality standards
  • Manage document control including drawings, submissions, reports, transmittals, and revision tracking to ensure accurate project documentation
  • Monitor project progress, site activities, material deliveries, and compliance with project requirements to mitigate risks and prevent delays
  • Support procurement by preparing RFQs, coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and planning inventory
  • Lead meetings and discussions with clients, contractors, and vendors to facilitate communication and resolve project issues
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, quality standards, and project specifications throughout project execution

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience designing water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD applications
  • Familiarity with engineering/project documentation, drawings, material submissions, and shipping documents
  • Strong organizational, communication, and task management skills to effectively manage multiple project tasks
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Immediate or short-notice availability is advantageous
