This is an opportunity to stay close to the work and see the results of your decisions. You’ll support new product launches, solve production challenges, and lead improvements that reduce scrap and make processes more reliable. Working with the Engineering Manager, operators, and design engineering, you’ll take ownership of assigned processes from development and validation through daily production.
For an engineer who enjoys practical problem solving, this role offers the chance to turn ideas into improvements the team can see and measure.

Collaborate across teams. Work with design engineering to resolve equipment and tooling issues before they affect production.
-
Train and coach operators. Explain procedures and process changes, helping employees build the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
-
Own your results. Follow improvements through implementation and verify that they deliver the intended outcome.
Experience you’ll need
-
At least three years of foundry experience directly related to low-pressure aluminum casting and process engineering.
-
Demonstrated experience solving molding process problems in a foundry environment.
-
Experience reducing foundry process scrap.

Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear. The role also includes desk work for documentation and programming as needed.
