Process Engineering Manager (CNC Machining)

Job Summary:
Responsible for new project prototype sample manufacturing (e.g., machining) and smooth transition to SOP, as well as continuous production support to improve quality and productivity. Focus on vane process line design, optimization, and maintenance for vane-type fuel oil pumps, with emphasis on vane component processing, assembly, and performance reliability. Ensures high-quality production, cost efficiency, and continuous process improvement. Leads end-to-end line platform development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the vane production line
  • Develop vane process line and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Troubleshoot issues in daily operations; work closely with operators and maintenance teams to achieve smooth line setup
  • Optimize vane machining processes (sawing, face grinding, edge grinding, polishing, AOI, packing)
  • Continuously improve manufacturing performance by monitoring and optimizing key metrics (yield, scrap rates, cycle time, OEE)
  • Identify sources of material loss/defects, implement corrective actions to reduce scrap, and improve first-pass yield
  • Reduce cycle time by eliminating bottlenecks, improving workflow, and enhancing machine utilization without compromising quality
  • Ensure consistent product quality by improving process capability indices (Cp, Cpk)
  • Apply data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Collaborate with internal/external CFT teams to ensure project execution and continuous improvement
  • Standardize processes, tools, recipes, machines, gauges, operations, and documentation
  • Implement single-piece flow and define end-to-end line processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in vane manufacturing or machining
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to meet customer deadlines under pressure
  • Customer-focused, willing to learn, and hardworking
  • Team player with a focus on developing team members
