Job Summary
Lead and coordinate facilities and engineering projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality completion while maintaining plant equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute facilities and engineering projects to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot plant facilities and equipment to reduce downtime and ensure operational reliability.
- Identify maintenance issues and implement solutions to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance and facility projects.
- Supervise and support supervisors and technicians by providing technical guidance, training, and performance oversight.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve facility and equipment issues, ensuring smooth plant operations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment downtime records to facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant facilities and machinery.
- Collect and analyze utility energy consumption data to ensure compliance with Energy Conservation Act (ECA) reporting.
- Support Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment (EEOA) initiatives aligned with regulatory standards.
- Apply basic knowledge of PLC systems to support maintenance activities (advantageous).
- Perform additional duties assigned by Management, including safety responsibilities and Emergency Response Team (ERT) participation.
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in a technical field such as Mechatronics Engineering.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- With relevant experience in facilities or engineering maintenance (advantageous).
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems (not mandatory but considered an advantage).
