Process & Proposal Engineer
Summary
Designs engineering processes and drafts technical proposals for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with client specs and coordinating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform process design tasks to develop efficient engineering solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, engineering documents, and project submissions to support project approval and execution.
- Review client specifications, P&ID, engineering drawings, and technical requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project progress.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure completion of works according to schedule.
- Assist with material coordination, conduct site inspections, and support testing and commissioning activities to ensure quality standards.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes during project execution to maintain operational efficiency.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager to support project and team objectives.
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in construction or semiconductor industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through managing engineering projects.
- Proactive and analytical approach to resolving site issues effectively.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
- Mandarin speaking skills to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
