Solstice Advanced Materials Process Quality Engineer (Quality Engineer II)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain process control plans for stamping, plating, and final inspection processes.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3, and customer requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Partner with Engineering and Production teams to improve yield, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
- Conduct internal quality audits and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Utilize SPC, DOE, Six Sigma, and other quality tools to improve process performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
- Strong knowledge in 3D report, CAPA
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Power BI or Minitab.
- Certified ISO9001/IATF16949 Internal Auditor preferred.
- Six Sigma or Lean certification is an advantage.
- Business level command of English
