Process Staff Engineer for Bar Fab Process

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Establish process capability and develop capacity/productivity models.
  2. Implement appropriate actions to improve yields and ensure continuous process optimization.
  3. Conduct gage repeatability & reproducibility (GR&R) studies, correlation studies, and implement actions to improve these capabilities.
  4. Generate reaction plans for out-of-control (OOC) situations.
  5. Assist manufacturing personnel with operator training, qualification, and initiatives to improve operator utilization, productivity, and inventory reduction.
  6. Communicate effectively with peers and foster teamwork.
  7. Drive continual improvement and optimize use of resources.
  8. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  9. Apply risk-based thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
  10. Ensure compliance with ISO requirements, company rules & regulations, and applicable codes.
  11. Maintain and update process documentation, including PMP, 8D reports, and PFMEA for assigned processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor or Master of Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics, Photonics, Mechanical or Mechatronics.
  2. Preferably majored in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechatronics or Mechanical.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in related industry and in mass production environment.
  4. Hands-on experience in sawing processes, including process setup, optimization, and troubleshooting, is required.
  5. Good computer literacy especially in SPC related applications.
  6. Must exhibit a strong sense of data analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
  7. Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
  8. Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
