Process Tech for IPOH Barfab
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute engineering tasks and support production to achieve process KPIs, including Output, Quality, and Scrap Cost.
- Perform periodic verifications and manage process fallout dispositions.
- Conduct buyoff activities for critical processes, such as the coating process.
- Perform wafer data collection (WAT, SEM, and SIM) for process engineers.
- Follow up on Special Build Requests and compile data summaries for process engineer review.
- Demonstrate strong observational skills to detect discrepancies and thoroughly understand test processes.
- Communicate effectively with peers and cross‑functional teams to enhance collaboration.
- Provide clear updates and feedback to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize resource utilization.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Engineering, preferably with a major in Mechatronics and Mechanical. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in Front‑of‑Line (FOL) processes such as wafer sawing, wafer scribe/cleave, die sorting, and die attach.
Skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
- Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge.
- Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
