Processing Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Market Operation team is looking to hire a Processing Sales Manager professional who will be responsible for selling production equipment and solutions for Dairy and Beverage production to our customers in Southern Africa. This role is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

What you will do

As Processing Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

• Driving opportunity management and sales of equipment and solutions in different food categories (e.g. Cheese, Dairy Processing, Ice Cream and Beverage) including responsibility for sales budget and margins
• Building strong relationships with assigned customers
• Providing inputs to the development of new products and participate in industrialization of new products
• Coordinating Business Intelligence with continuous studies and support ad hoc studies development
• Reporting on the market situation: won and lost orders, forecast, ongoing and planned activities
• Securing a seamless and transparent collaboration with other functions in the company

We believe you have

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering of Food Technology (preferred)
• Commercial experience: minimum 3-5 years experience in Sales of capital equipment for liquid food processing
• Experience of key account management is preferred
• Ability to travel within Southern Africa(40%)
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English
• Excellent communications skills
• Good presentation skills
• Positive, can do attitude, open for a long-term opportunity with an international mindset
• Ability to work individually and a good team player
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
