B2B contract role in Warsaw (hybrid, 2-3 days/week) for an SAP Procure-to-Pay Subject Matter Expert. The SME supports and optimizes end-to-end PtP processes in SAP and Basware: guiding purchasing, coordinating requisitions/POs, invoice matching, user training, and driving process improvements.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (PtP) Subject Matter Expert to join Procurement and Finance operations team. The expert will play a vital role in optimizing and supporting end-to-end PtP processes within SAP and Basware. This role will involve acting as a functional expert in procurement operations, purchase orders, and invoice matching, ensuring the seamless execution of business processes and alignment with system functionalities.
Main Responsibilities:
As an SAP PtP SME, you will:
Guide business users on purchasing goods or services in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Coordinate purchase requisitions and purchase orders workflow.
Interface between suppliers, business stakeholders, and Finance teams on purchasing processes.
Work closely with procurement functions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure proper buying channels are created and used by requesters.
Support project team in P2P implementation activities.
Provide training and awareness sessions to procurement system users.
Support audit activities related to Procurement/PO process.
Lead initiatives to improve operational procurement state.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in SAP and/or Basware Procure-to-Pay processes.
Strong functional knowledge of procurement operations.
Experience with purchase orders and invoice matching (3-way match).
Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and finance teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements.
