This position is to serve as a subject matter expert by supporting the Director of OAM, providing guidance regarding acquisition-related policy, Office of Management and Budget initiatives, acquisition workforce programs, procurement systems, and DOJ strategic acquisition priorities. This is an open-continuous announcement with an established initial cut-off date 14 days after the open date of the announcement. The duties and responsibilities for a Procurement Analyst, GS-1102-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: * Oversee the development and/or recommends policies and procedures in the area of acquisition, to include formulating guidelines, implementing new developments. * Develop, coordinate and maintain Department-level policy and Justice Management Division (Offices, Boards, and Divisions) policy and initiatives, regulations and guidance relative to acquisition.. * Prepare documentation for senior management with detailed data supporting various alternative courses of action. * Keep senior management advised on new/revised policy and procedures covering a variety of acquisition and management topics. * Respond to inquiries regarding Federal acquisition regulations, acquisition procedures, and procurement systems.
