Procurement Analyst (Purchase Card Coordinator)
This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Strategy & Oversight Team (NSSS), Contracts & Strategic Sourcing (NSS), Supply Chain Services (NS), Chief Administrative Office (N). A successful candidate in the Procurement Analyst (Purchase Card Coordinator) position will serve as the point of contact and process owner for a major area of supply operations and the purchase card program.
As a Procurement Analyst, you will: Ensure Compliance and Oversee Purchase Card Program: Reviews major purchases to ensure they follow all laws and policies, manages compliance audits, and supports the purchase card (PCard) coordinator role to ensure federal requirements are met. Train and Mentor: Develops training plans and mentors contract specialists to improve their skills and ensure adherence to policies. Analyze and Improve Performance: Measures the supply chain's effectiveness by tracking key metrics, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs. Manage Improvement Projects: Leads projects to implement process and program improvements, which includes managing budgets, teams, and communication plans. Conduct Market Research: Stays informed about the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in supply chain management by engaging with the electrical utility community and other professional associations. Develop Workforce Competencies: Works with the management team to define the skills needed for the workforce and manages training and certification programs.
