Procurement Operations
- Support end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, RFQs/RFPs, quotation analysis, purchase orders, and order tracking.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Evaluate quotations and prepare comparative statements to support purchasing decisions.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, and outstanding commitments.
Spend & Data Analysis
- Analyze procurement and vendor spend to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards covering spend, savings, purchase orders, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs.
- Maintain accurate procurement data and ensure timely updates to procurement systems.
- Identify spending trends, anomalies, and opportunities for consolidation or standardization.
Vendor Management
- Support vendor onboarding, documentation, evaluation, and periodic performance reviews.
- Maintain vendor master data, contracts, pricing information, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial requirements.
- Track vendor performance against agreed SLAs, quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Commercial & Cost Management
- Assist in negotiations with vendors to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
- Conduct price benchmarking and market analysis.
- Support contract renewals and identify opportunities for renegotiation or consolidation.
- Track procurement savings and validate realized benefits with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Excellent MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with procurement/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar tools is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Ability to convert procurement data into meaningful business insights.
