Summary: The purpose of this position is to perform clearance reviews of solicitations and contracts for high-dollar/complex acquisitions; to develop and implement contracting policies and procedures; and to provide technical advice and guidance and counsel to acquisition and contracting personnel. Duties: Serves as Procurement Analyst in support of the squadron by analyzing procurement data, analyzing and projecting procurement trends, and managing special projects involving data collection created locally or assigned to the squadron for review and completion. Develops and uses a variety of manuals, instructions, and training material for contracting and functional personnel to inform, clarify, explain and implement regulatory policy changes, and/or to note recurring errors observed during contract/file review. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
