We’re looking for a practical, people-focused Procurement and Stores Lead to help us keep the good energy flowing. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, procurement expertise and operational know-how in a role that makes a real difference to the smooth running of our business.

In the interesting and varied role you will:

  • Lead and development a small talented Procurement and Stores team.
  • Manage procurement processes, supplier relationships.
  • Support sourcing activities, RFx processes and purchasing requirements.
  • Oversee inventory, stores operations and critical spare management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with organisational policies and delegated authorities.
  • Champion safe work practices and environmental responsibility.

You may come from procurement, supply chain, logistics, engineering support, manufacturing, utilities, energy, infrastructure or another operational environment.

We're interested in people who bring:

  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong procurement, commercial or supply chain experience.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships and positively influence others.
  • Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • A practical, customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • A commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement.

A qualification in procurement, supply chain, business or a related discipline would be advantageous, as would experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors.
