Role description:
Role accountabilities:
- Act as the primary procurement partner for project teams and regional stakeholders.
- Develop project sourcing and subcontracting strategies aligned with client and commercial requirements.
- Lead complex negotiations and oversee contract variations, claims and close-out.
- Shape make-or-buy, sourcing and commercial decisions using cost and market insights.
- Drive value, margin improvement and risk-reduction initiatives, including support for bids and pursuits.
- Build strategic supplier relationships and oversee performance across cost, schedule, quality, safety and contractual obligations.
- Work with Service leadership to encourage early procurement involvement and align projects with category strategies and procurement frameworks.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Risk, Sustainability and operational teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within complex, project-based environments.
- Significant experience in direct/project procurement, strategic sourcing, subcontracting and contract management.
- Proven experience leading complex sourcing strategies, negotiations and contract delivery.
- Expert knowledge of project procurement, subcontracting, contract lifecycle, commercial risk and supplier performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify cost, value and risk-reduction opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management capabilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to provide strategic procurement leadership and effectively partner with project and regional leadership.
