Procurement Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, particularly in the context of capital expenditures (CAPEX) related to chemical equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring that our projects are supplied with the necessary equipment and materials in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the procurement process for chemical equipment, including rectors, vessels, pumps, and heat exchangers. - Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand equipment specifications and project requirements. - Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. - Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for management. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in chemical equipment to inform procurement strategies. Required Skills: - Strong understanding of CAPEX procurement processes. - Familiarity with chemical equipment, including rectors, vessels, pumps, and heat exchangers. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
