Procurement Executive

Role Overview

We are looking to hire a smart procurement and analysis executive for our transport department. The role involves analyzing transportation expenditure, performing cost comparisons, monitoring service levels, preparing structured MIS reports and coordinating with various third party transporters for processing their bills as well as rate negotiations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, Excel expertise, high problem-solving ability, and the capability to negotiate.

Roles and Responsibility

· Analyze transport expenditure and identify cost optimization opportunities

· Perform cost comparisons across transporters, routes, and hubs

· Negotiate vendor rates and payment terms based on their service performance and competitive landscape.

· Track and evaluate service levels (TAT, performance adherence, efficiency metrics)

· Develop dashboards and structure data reports for management review

· Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in transport data

· Coordinate with Operations and Finance teams for vendor payments and data validation

· Improve transport performance through automation and process improvement
