Procurement Executive
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source and procure materials, equipment, tools, spare parts, and services required for engineering projects and operations.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors based on pricing, quality, delivery schedules, and technical specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
SupplierManagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier performance on quality, pricing, delivery, and service standards.
- Identify and onboard qualified suppliers to support project and business requirements.
- Maintain an approved vendor list and supplier database.
Inventory & Material Coordination
- Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and warehouse personnel to ensure material availability.
- Verify delivery documents, goods received notes, and purchase records for accuracy.
- Resolve discrepancies related to deliveries, quality issues, and invoicing.
Cost Control & Reporting
- Track procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Prepare procurement reports, expenditure analyses, and supplier performance reports.
- Support budget planning and forecasting activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping of procurement transactions.
Compliance& Process Improvement
- Ensure procurement activities comply with contractual, legal, and company requirements.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation and audit trail.
- Participate in supplier audits and internal procurement reviews.
- Recommend improvements to procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in engineering, construction, manufacturing, M&E, or industrial sectors.
- Experience in sourcing engineering materials, equipment, and subcontractor services is preferred.
- Familiarity with procurement systems, ERP software, or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of M&E, engineering, construction, or industrial procurement.
- Familiarity with lift industry procurement would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting project-based procurement requirements.
