Procurement Executive
Job Description
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality products and services.
- Obtain, compare, and assess quotations from suppliers/vendors, and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare, issue, and monitor Purchase Orders(POs), ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and Operations teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, deliveries, invoices, and supplier information.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store personnel to ensure adequate stock availability and timely replenishment.
- Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and resolve any procurement-related issues or invoice discrepancies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and project requirements.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Only for Singaporeans/PRs
- At least Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the Singapore construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English
- Able to work independently, multi-task and hardworking
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with local construction suppliers, market pricing, and procurement practices will be an added advantage.
- Preferably able to commence within short notice.
