We aim to provide Commercial and Industrial (C&I) SMEs and residential homeowners with solar energy solutions in an affordable and convenient way.
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Operations Executive (Procurement) to manage sourcing, purchasing, and materials tracking for our residential and C&I solar installation projects. You will work alongside our operations team, reporting to the Operations Manager, keeping suppliers, budgets, and project materials moving in sync so installations don't stall for lack of parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers.
- Manage procurement budgets and optimize costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Maintain supplier records, purchasing data, and cost information.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement and contract documentation.
- Review and improve procurement procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor and follow up on purchase order status.
- Communicate with local and overseas suppliers on procurement enquiries.
- Handle all procurement activities and purchase order issuance.
- Maintain inventory records for solar panels, mounting structures, cables, and other project materials.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent material shortages and support project execution.
- Track material issuance and returns (inventory in/out) when coordinating with EPC contractors.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Prior working experience in a role involving procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or operations coordination — solar/PV experience is not required, but genuine willingness to learn is.
- Strong negotiation and supplier communication skills.
- Proven ability to plan ahead, forecast material needs, and spot potential delays or blockers before they become problems.
- Organised and detail-oriented in maintaining records and documentation
Good to Have:
- Basic electrical knowledge.
