Procurement Executive
Procurement Manager:
Role and Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned categories of products and services.
• Manage and coordinate end-to-end procurement activities, including Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), contract renewals and procurement approvals.
• Prepare procurement documents, evaluation reports, approval papers and other procurement-related submissions.
• Support contract renewals and procurement planning activities to ensure continuity of critical business and operational services.
• Engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and relevant parties throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Monitor procurement timelines and ensure procurement activities are completed in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, achieve cost savings and enhance procurement processes.
• Maintain procurement, contract and vendor records and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Support supplier management activities, including supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures and governance requirements.
• Address procurement-related queries and support stakeholders in complying with internal procurement policies and relevant regulations.
• Monitor contract expiry dates and work with stakeholders to initiate renewal or replacement procurement activities ahead of expiry.
• Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis and management information to support planning and decision-making.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance procurement and contract management practices.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualification & Skill-sets (Functional & Technical)
•
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
•
Preferably 3-5 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, contract management or commercial experience.
•
Experience in ICT and/or technology procurement is preferred.
•
Familiarity with procurement processes, contract administration and supplier management practices.
•
Knowledge of SAP or similar procurement systems would be advantageous.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•
Good understanding of procurement governance, policies and approval processes.
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Soft Skills
•
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
•
Strong business writing and presentation skills.
•
Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and deadlines concurrently.
•
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
•
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
•
