Procurement Executive
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely procurement of quality goods and services at competitive prices.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate and select suppliers to meet project requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to achieve cost reductions.
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed about price trends and market conditions.
- Ensure all procured materials and services meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with the stakeholders to address any quality issues promptly.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.
Role Requirements:
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in construction procurement.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Suite.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Willing to work in Potong Pasir / MacPherson area
