Procurement Executive / Manager

  • Handle end-to-end procurement for solar EPC projects including:
    • Solar modules
    • Inverters
    • Module mounting structures (MMS)
    • ACDB/DCDB
    • Cables and connectors
    • Transformers and HT/LT equipment
    • SCADA and monitoring systems
    • BOS materials
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and EPC vendors.
  • Float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial bids, and prepare comparative statements.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, delivery timelines, and commercial contracts.
  • Coordinate closely with:
    • Project execution teams
    • Engineering/design teams
    • Finance/accounts
    • Site teams
  • Ensure timely material dispatches and delivery tracking to project sites.
  • Maintain procurement MIS, PO tracking, inventory coordination, and vendor performance records.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, import duties, and supply-chain risks related to solar components.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize project costs and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with project BOQs, quality standards, and technical specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5+ years of relevant procurement experience in Solar EPC projects.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Solar project components
    • Vendor ecosystem
    • EPC commercial practices
    • Supply-chain management
  • Experience in handling procurement for industrial rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar projects.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced execution-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Existing network with solar OEMs and vendors.
  • Understanding of import procurement and logistics.
  • Knowledge of Indian renewable energy market dynamics.
  • Commercial acumen with strong cost optimization mindset.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
