Procurement Executive (Precast)
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for construction materials, consumables, and services.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and conduct price negotiations.
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project and production schedules.
- Track and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely arrival and resolve supply issues or delays.
- Work closely with Production, QA/QC Engineering teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in material forecasting to avoid shortages or excess.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
- Assist in vendor performance assessments and price benchmarking.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant procurement documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction, precast, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials (e.g., cement, rebar, aggregates, concrete accessories) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or procurement software.
- Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Team player with a positive work attitude and initiative.
